Rated by Craig Brown as one of the top five young players in Scotland and will hopefully consolidate his position with the Scotland under 21 squad this season.

Another inspired signing by the management, young James McLeod was snapped up from Bolton Wanderers at the beginning of this season. He made the right back position his own until a serious injury ruled him out midway through last season, has not yet fully regained the fitness level that he had prior to his injury.
