FAN PROFILE

Keith Davies, who now lives in Bewdley in deepest Worcestershire is this weeks fan of the week. Keith used to be a regular at Palmerston when he lived in Carlisle, making it to every home game. He says that he has supported Queens for the last 18 years, so that makes him 27 years old before he saw the light. Keith has the dream occupation for many people being a Brewer and obviously likes a drink as well, as the thing he misses most about Dumfries is having a drink in the Hole in the Wa'.

His favourite current player is Rowan Alexander but with Rowan looking as though he has hung up his boots, Keith might have to have another think on that one. His favourite all time player is Ted McMinn, who he watched at Palmerston before Ted became the Teddy bears, "Tin man".

His most memorable game was the game versus Hearts in the Scottish Cup that ended all square and went to a replay at Tynecastle, although his first match was a midweek game against Stenhousemuir.

Keith also has fond memories of the two "mature barmaids" who were extremely welcoming to him and his mates each week and wonders if they are still around, anyone who recognises these ladies better not let them know about the mature bit.

Finally Keith confesses to a very strange addiction, that of supping scorching hot Bovril and pies in the same plastic cup, no idea how that can be done.
