FAN PROFILE

Nineteen year old Dumfries man and student Graeme McNay, who is currently studying in Glasgow is this weeks fan of the week. A staunch Queens fan he has been supporting the team since the age of five, when his Dad first started taking him.

Like many Queens fans he lists his favourite all time Queens player at Tam Bryce, the "three minute hat trick man" as Graeme puts it. Not surprisingly then that the game that Graeme regrets missing most featured Tam Bryce scoring last seasons "Goal of the Season", a last minute free kick against eventual champions Stranraer to send them back along the A75 empty handed. Just for Graeme you can relive that goal by clicking HERE.

In terms of present Palmerston personnel he reckons that the dead ball skills of Carlisle Postie Derek Townsley mark him out as the top man. His most memorable game isn't surprisingly the Challenge Cup Final, but the semi final when we went up to manager Rowan lexanders happiest hunting ground of Cappielow and upset the odds by knocking the Greenock men out of the Challenge Cup, "a brilliant game and a brilliant atmosphere" says Graeme.
