A tricky wide player, Willie made an explosive start to his Queens career when he came on as a substitute in the last game of the 2000/01 season and won the Man of the Match award. After injury he came back last term and won a number of MoM's before losing his place in the side but laterly came back in and impressed yet again on the left hand side of midfield.
